I'm a retired ‘grandma’ based in Northamptonshire, enjoying life creating arts and crafts, a pastime that used to be crammed into the chaos of bringing up a large family but which has now been allowed to take over my life.

Fabric pigs, rag dolls, jewellery, candles, salt-dough plaques and finally the string/fabric bags, totes and shoppers, some of which were the result of experiments with coloured string from Bangladesh, crocheted into bags that wowed friends who were queuing to get one.

I now get supplies of string from a company in Scotland, which has a super variety of colours, all amazingly soft and pliable, as you’ll see from the photos. I'm forever experimenting with new mediums and textures.. so anything might happen from here on in..
